Twenty years of words that moved ministers, newsrooms and Parliament.

“If you are the source of the river, imagine who drinks from you downstream.”Mo Ansar

Since April 2006, Mo Ansar has written essays on Islam, Britain, the far right, war, faith and freedom. Many were handed directly to ministers and journalists, and the ripples ran far: policies changed, his phrases were taken up in Parliament, and the pieces cascaded across social media. Here are 95 of them. Most can now be read in full right here on moansar.com.
